FIND OUT WHERE WILL CHEF PEPIN BE IN THE MONTHS OF SEPTEMBER
AND OCTOBER
On September 16 at 8:45 AM he will be in Desayuno Musical in
Miami on 107.5FM in: "Where in the World is Chef Pepin."
On September 18 at 6 PM he will attend the Winn Dixie at
Coral Way and 87 Avenue. Also in Miami, tasting wines and
doing a cooking demonstration.
On Saturday 19, between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm he will be at
Sedano's on Calle 8 and S.W. 145th Avenue for the Coca
Cola Grand Give-a-way raffle, where the grand prize is
a year's supply of Groceries courtesy of Coca Cola and Chef
Pepin appliances.
On September 22 at 11:00 AM the Chef will be on the Today
South Florida show sharing interesting advices, tips and
cooking.
On September 24th, Chef Pepin will be in the Naples,
FL region at local supermarkets- locations TBD.
On October, 1st-5th, Chef Pepin will be in the Los Angeles
area where he will be making TV appearances and doing
some promotions.
On October 10th we will be at Winn-Dixie Supermarket located
in Coral Way and 32nd Avenue, for wine tasting and cooking
demonstration.

After 20 years on TV, Chef Pepin has
become one of Univision's most beloved
stars. Here he spills the beans on what
started him in the business and what any
Latina who missed the cocina connection
can do to improve their cooking!
What made you first want to become a
Chef?
Well, I was a chef from birth, because I
was born hungry! (laughs) And when
you're hungry you better know how to
cook! From a very early age I used to
hang out in the kitchen and try out a
lot of different things. My grandmother
and grandfather had a farm and they used
to make all sorts of sausages and
cheese... So you know that's how I
started. I learned how to make butter
and cheese when I was 4 years old. I
went to live my Aunt and Uncle at age 5
and cooking was a main focus of our
daily lives. I came here to the US when
I was 12 and started working at the
Marina in the kitchen when I was 14
years old.

2008

entered into a new cycle of his personal and professional
life.
This month, AARP Segunda Juventud magazine chose him for the
cover, highlighting his successful career, his influence on
thousands of people who enjoy good food nationally and
internationally through his recipes as well as family life,
which has been his biggest inspiration in everything he
does..

CHEF PEPIN ON THE NEW ISSUE OF PEOPLE EN ESPANOL
The
internationally renowned Chef Pepin, who in 2008 celebrates
20 year in Hispanic television, is highlighted in the most
recent issue of the popular monthly magazine People en
Espanol.
The article describes some of his achievements during his
career that include his successful segment in the number 1
program of Univision, Despierta America!, his line of
appliances and his weekly appearances in the radio program
Piolin Por La Manana, among others.

THE STORY OF CHEF PEPIN IN PICTURES
His
has been a chef for 20 years. His name is Jose Antonio and
is the seventh person in the family that carries that name.
His family emigrated from the Canary Islands to Cuba. He has
been married for 40 years, and that child, who used to sell
newspapers, could never imagine that he would fall into a
loving relation with cooking which would allow him to rub
